Laura Bendick completed her BFA at Virginia Commonwealth University where she majored Communication Arts with a minor in Art History. Communication Arts is a program which focuses on building technical skills and visual storytelling techniques for a variety of professional industries, including commercial illustration, graphic design, and concept art.

 

In the past, she has worked on album covers, product labels, and children's books, and is eager to take on any new projects.

She works in a variety of mediums but tends to make pieces with strong linework, colors, and silhouettes. Most often, she works in ink or Photoshop.

When not working on a new piece, she can be found watching a great movie or exploring Richmond looking for more inspiration.
